Data’s First Line of Security

There are a lot of mistakes that we make when it comes to the passwords we choose to protect our computers and our data. We use the same password for every website, we use our pet’s name, or we write the password on a Post-It note and stick it to the corner of our monitor- just in case we forget!

Blough Tech wants to help you fix all of these mistakes and make it easier for you to remember all of those pesky passwords. It sounds too good to be true, right? Wrong!

We recommend using a website called LastPass. There is both a free version and paid version. What LastPass does is it keeps a record of what passwords you use with which accounts. It can even generate a secure, 8-charac-ter, alphanumeric password for you. The only thing you have to remember now is one password, the password to your LastPass account.
